I woke up around 8am. I thought I was going to be late, but I actually made it with perfect timing. When I got there, I had the only sports bike, all the other bikes were cruisers, which makes sense since its at the Harley Davidson Shop. The goal of this event was to raise money for the troops by inviting motorcyclists to ride a Poker Run. A Poker run is when you ride in a group from spot to spot collecting poker cards. The best hand at the end wins $500. Turns out more sports bike showed up and we all found each other to form our own group. The ride was pretty awesome. Lots of twisties, perfect weather, and no cops. I got a shitty poker hand, and we got lost a lot, but it was worth the $25. I skipped the free breakfast, but the lunch was really good. I wasn't impressed with the bikini girls or the UFC fighters, but the stunt show was tight. I left right after that. Overall, I was there from 8:30am to 2:30pm and rode 140 miles. I'll definitely do it again next year.
